NIST SP 800-88 Rev 1 Data Sanitization
Every drive is sanitized to NIST SP 800-88 on isolated wiping hardware, using the method the drive itself supports (cryptographic erase or block sanitize), then read back to verify. When drives cannot leave your facility with data on them, we do this on-site before pickup for a small additional fee. Either way you receive a serialized Certificate of Data Destruction for your records.

Do you buy from individuals or only large companies?
We buy from both. Single lots from homelabs and small businesses (4 or more drives works best) and full decommissions from data centers, MSPs, and IT asset managers.
How do you handle data security on our drives?
We follow NIST SP 800-88 Rev 1 media sanitization. Every drive is sanitized on dedicated wiping benches with the method the drive supports, then verified, and we issue a serialized Certificate of Data Destruction for your records.
Can you sanitize the drives before they leave our facility?
Yes. For lots that cannot leave the building with data on them, we bring the wiping bench to you, sanitize every drive to NIST 800-88 on-site, verify it, and hand you the serialized Certificate of Data Destruction before anything is packed. On-site work carries a small additional fee that we quote with your purchase offer. Choose "On-site at our facility" on the form.
What if some of my drives fail testing?
We test all units upon arrival. If any drives fail SMART or have bad sectors, we can either return them to you at our cost or safely recycle them and adjust the final settlement accordingly with complete transparency.
How does the Trade-In program work?
Choose store credit as your payout preference. Once the lot is verified we issue the credit and you can apply it to any order. Cash by ACH, wire, or PayPal is always available instead.
