Overview

The Seagate IronWolf Pro 16TB is a helium-sealed CMR drive built for multi-bay NAS and RAID use. This unit is close to new: it has only 188 power-on hours. Standard SATA 6Gb/s interface.

Compatibility

Works in any system with a 3.5-inch SATA bay: NAS units (Synology, QNAP, TrueNAS, Unraid), servers, JBODs and desktops. SAS controllers and backplanes also accept SATA drives. Verify your enclosure or USB dock supports drives of this capacity before purchasing; some older units top out at 16TB or below.

    Wiped

    All previous data is wiped and the wipe is verified.

    Tamper seal and certificate

    Sealed after testing with a numbered tamper-evident seal. Its QR code and the certificate in the box open this exact unit's report.
