Overview

The Intel SSD DC P4510 is a data-center-class NVMe drive engineered for read-intensive and mixed-use enterprise workloads. Built on 64-layer 3D TLC NAND and paired with the PCIe 3.1 x4 interface, it delivers consistent latency and high endurance ratings that far exceed consumer SSDs. The U.2 (SFF-8639) connector is native to most 1U and 2U rack servers and is compatible with U.2-to-PCIe adapters for desktop or homelab use.

This is an ideal upgrade for servers running VMware vSphere, Proxmox, TrueNAS, or similar platforms where sustained throughput and reliability matter. With 1,970 TBW endurance and hardware power-loss protection, this drive is built to remain in service for years under demanding I/O loads.

Compatibility Notes

Requires a U.2 (SFF-8639) host port or a U.2-to-PCIe x4 adapter card. Not compatible with standard SATA or SAS backplanes. Check your server or motherboard documentation to confirm U.2 or PCIe NVMe support before purchasing.

    Wiped

    All previous data is wiped and the wipe is verified.

    Tamper seal and certificate

    Sealed after testing with a numbered tamper-evident seal. Its QR code and the certificate in the box open this exact unit's report.
