The HGST Ultrastar C10K1800 is a 1.8TB 10,000 RPM 2.5-inch enterprise SAS drive, here in its Dell-branded version (DP/N RF9T8). It is a common capacity drive for Dell PowerEdge servers and storage shelves. This is a SAS drive and requires a SAS host bus adapter, RAID controller or SAS backplane.
Compatibility
Compatible with servers and storage shelves that provide a 2.5-inch SAS bay and a SAS controller or backplane, such as Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant and Supermicro platforms. Not compatible with SATA-only ports, laptops or consumer NAS enclosures without a SAS controller. Your server's drive caddy is not included.
